We won again 5-1. It looks like we are finding our game. We put a lot of pressure on them everywhere on the field. The only blight on the game was when I deflected a cross into our own net. Good job guys!

Is there a team named Bye? They do not show up in the standings and all there scores are unreported.
Apparently there is no team named "Bye". BTW - according to utahsoccer.org, we won the game 6-1, not 5-1. I guess I lost count.

We got our first win last night, 5-1. It took until the second half to put things together, but we moved the ball pretty well and looked a lot more like last year.
We have a game tomorrow morning at 10:45am at Orem High School. If you can't get through the construction site to get to the field, use the ladders we set up on the NE end (walk down the irrigation canal.

The schedule through the end of May is up. One of the games is against "Bye", which I assume means there is no game, but I suppose it could be against a sneaky team who named themselves "Bye" to try to win all their games by forfeit. We'll look into it further...
Also, Fitz wants to announce that any players who fail to show up to a game without calling to let him know may be suspended for the following game. I know this sounds harsh, but as members of a team, we have made a commitment to each other. We don't just come out to home games or only if the weather is nice. We need to be there for each other every week. If you've got a prior commitment, just call Fitz (224-5618) and let him know you won't be able to make it, and we'll make adjustments.
Our next game is Thursday, 6:15pm, Orem High School. We'll see you there.

Fitz told me to rescind the whole suspension thing. He was speaking a little out of emotion that day, since a few guys didn't call and didn't show, and we got our butts kicked.

Our first game is listed for the 12 at 11:45 at Orem high.
So we'll still practice tomorrow at 1pm. Our first game is next Saturday at 11:30am, Orem High.

We have been practicing Saturdays at 1pm and Wednesdays at 6pm. Sorry about the Wednesday night time mixup (the messages I sent out said 6:30).
We'll continue this schedule until the season starts. I expect the season will start in a couple weeks, but there is nothing on the league web site yet.

I haven't been checking up on the site for a while, and I noticed it was down today. I don't know for how long, but we're back now.
The weather is getting nice. It's time to get back in shape. I sent out a call/email earlier in the week to remind people that we are practicing this Saturday at 1pm.
